“Disappointing”

This hotel is rated @ three and a half stars, but it barely warrants the “half”. Its main trade is as a place for coach tour passengers to stay overnight for the duration of their touring holiday. During our week’s stay there were about seven coachloads that came and went. We had requested a double room. It was spartan and basic. No doors on what could be described, otherwise, as a wardrobe – just open shelves. No bedside cabinets and no drawers anywhere at all. The only other furniture was a steel frame table with one plastic chair. TV was 32”, the only channel broadcast in English was #21. Our “double bed” was two, fully made up singles, pushed together. There was a safe and a small fridge. The walk-in shower was welcomed, as was the balcony. The dining area staff was excellent; attentive and efficient, however the “hot” food was generally only warm. Regrettably, my main memory of our stay will be the attitude of a member of the reception staff. Only two sachets of milk had been provided in our room, which was insufficient for two of us, so I asked for two more. My request was refused and, when I asked why he couldn’t give me any more milk, and he told me to go to the local supermarket and buy some! Disappointing!

“Unpleasant altercations”

Sadly some people were blocking access routes during the evening, altercations were not pleasant. Management should address these issues

“Excellent Hotel”

The best

Stayed as part of a package holiday. The Hotel was modern as spotlessly clean. Rooms were comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. Really good shower and balcony with great view. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Food was buffet style with a great selection. Evening entertainment was really good and location was great only 5 minutes from the beach. A really great place to visit.

“Nice stay, but missing basic touches that make a big difference”

It was clean and location was not far from beach. Staff was nice 😊

To be improved

For the price I paid for a two-night stay, I expected at least complimentary drinking water each day—not just on the first day. I’ve travelled extensively, and providing daily water is a very basic hospitality standard in most places. The same applies to the in-room coffee: there’s a coffee machine provided, but the capsules come at an extra charge. These are small touches that cost very little for the hotel but would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience.
