The maintenance woman was super friendly. Location was great. Pool was nice. The unit was a nice size. The management company was super quick and efficient with any repair or need we had. Gala and her maintenance team are too notch.
Needs all new bedding, towels, pillows. The doors make a huge bang when you try to open the door knob. I had to wash the couch pillow covers when I got there they were very dirty. I bought new towels and new pillows, and a few kitchen items. The ice cube tray was broken the wine opener was bent. One line of the outdoor clothes line squeaked so loud you couldn’t bring your laundry in too early or too late at night out of respect for others sleeping.

The location is wonderful with a great view of the sea. The apartment is on the 4th floor with one bedroom and a couch bed in the lounge. The kitchen is modern with plenty of cupboards. There is an excess of glasses that limit the storage space for food. This was a problem as we were staying for 4 weeks. A few additional items in the kitchen would also improve things, such as a bread and carving knife plus a decent collander for draining rice. Dish washing liquid was provided. However, it was extremely poor quality. Other cleaning products were not provided, which was disappointing. We have stayed in many other apartments, and products have been readily available. The bed was extremely comfortable with additional pillows if required. Two sets of bedding and towels were provided, however no detergent to wash them. The walk-in shower was excellent with safety handle and stool if required. Only 3 toilet rolls were left, which we also thought was unthoughtful. Other furnishings whilts functional were showing their age. The caretaker lady Lola was absolutely superb in maintaining the cleanliness of the communal areas. Also pivotal in helping us with the many issues we were to encounter.
Day one, we encountered major building work in an adjacent apartment. The noise was horrendous. I contacted the agency, which was not really empathetic to us. The following day, we awoke to no water for several hours along with the building noise. Not being able to wash or shower and use the toilet prevented us from even leaving the building. I messaged the agency, which was not helpful, which in turn made me contact Booking. Com. Who were initially apologetic and would look into it. That evening, more building work was to commence, which was extremely frustrating. 6pm and Jack hammers were at work. By day four, we awoke to no electricity, no water, and plenty of noise. I contacted the agency, who informed me that the electricity was out due to a storm. If so, how were the builders powering their drills. Half the building had lost electricity as I had walked downstairs and checked with the lovely Lola. I contacted Booking.com, who looked into it and called me back. Their answer was for us to move to another location. As I politely explained, we had already purchased food worth €150. To pack up our clothes along with the fact that my wife has mobility issues and uses a walker. We were extremely distraught in considering this option. Moving to another location was not really an option as we would have incurred additional expense, and after paying over €2000 for this apartment, I was extremely upset. We even considered returning home early. As pensioners, the additional cost was not an option. Once we knew what we were dealing with, we managed to make it work for us. We have used many apartments with other agencies and have not encountered this level of problems before. I contacted Booking.com on our return home, and over two weeks later, they have not contacted me to discuss it further. A sad ending to what was supposed to be a great experience for my wife and I.
