The apartment is modern, with high-quality appliances, and its location is perfect—close to a shopping center, public transport, and the City of Arts and Sciences.
The cleanliness of the apartment could have been much better. Most of the plates, glasses, and cutlery were visibly dirty inside the cupboards. The apartment is advertised for up to 10 people - we were 8 adults and 2 children, but there were only 4 chairs and an insufficient amount of tableware (just 6 glasses, a few plates, and limited cutlery). We had to eat in two shifts and wash dishes in between. There were only 8 towels provided. A major issue is that a lot of light comes into the bedrooms. The blinds do not block the sunlight, so you wake up at sunrise. Additionally, since the apartment is on the ground floor, street noise is constant—people talking, etc. While the beds and pillows are very comfortable, the combination of light and noise makes it hard to rest properly. The biggest downside was the UNBEARABLE sewage smell coming from the bathrooms. We bought two air fresheners, but they didn’t help at all. The kitchen sink was clogged, and we had to buy a drain cleaner to unblock it. The shower drain was also clogged, so we had to shower quickly to prevent water from overflowing. The bathrooms had no heating, which made showering, especially for the children, quite uncomfortable due to the cold. The apartment lacked basic cleaning supplies such as kitchen cloths or wipes, so we had to buy them ourselves. On the third day of our stay, the management company informed us that a painter would come for repairs. I asked if it could be done after we checked out, but they said it had been scheduled for weeks—even though they never notified us in advance. They assured us it would be quick and wouldn’t disturb us, but 15 minutes later, the painter arrived and said the job would take about an hour. He had to cover our belongings with plastic sheets, and once he finished, the floor was left dirty, which we had to clean ourselves. The management company offered no solution.
“Exceptional”
A spacious and well-equipped apartment, perfect for a comfortable stay. It has everything you need, and the location is excellent—close to the Oceanogràfic, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Public transport is also easily accessible, with a bus station just a short walk away.
