Overall very minimal setup, a few things broken (like a leg for the foldable bed and shelf by the bed).

We appreciate the good airconditioning and there are 2 of them. Easy self check in.

To be improved

Communication with host is not constantly good. They demand for an amount as deposit for damages but we found things in the place already damaged on arrival. Place not clean as one would expect it to be. Dust everywhere, in every corner, the closet. Doors and closet still had fingerprints from how many other guests before us. (Eww) Dear owner, don’t take this personally but sorry this was our experience with your place in our 4days stay.

“Great location for a group stay”

- great location, close to 2 metro stations (La Almudena, Ascao) - good contact with the owner by WhatsApp - well-equipped kitchen and bathroom (hair dryer, towels, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, laundry machine, fridge) - clean room - rather quiet neighbourhood, only noise was made by a garbage truck

To be improved

- first room is very bright - big windows, not covered. - fire extinguisher is fluorescent which is very visible in the night, close to the bed - no hanger for winter coats - there was only one tea spoon - one bedside table was broken - no bedsite lamps in the first room - bathroom floor was a little damaged due to the humidity

“A great choice to be close to the airport.”

The self check-in process is something I always appreciate because when you don't have a 24-hr reception, you always have to arrange a time to meet someone to get the keys and in case something goes away from the plan, it requires you to re-arrange everything. In our case, our plane got delayed so we only got there 2hr later than expected. Imagine having someone waiting 2hr more for us. The apartment is on ground level so it was initially designed to be a commercial store and not an apartment. However, the owners did the necessary adjustments to make sure we had privacy and everything necessary to feel at home. Everything was working and both beds were extremely comfortable.

To be improved

The neighborhood felt a bit shady especially because we arrived at midnight. It could've been our impression but we were glad that we were just staying one night. Regarding the apartment itself, we have no complaints!
