“Disappointing and tiring.”

Clean bedroom and the outdoor space is well decorated. Once you can finally get a hold of staff, they are polite.

Our problems started before we even arrived to the accommodation. The check-in must be completed through a form that works poorly. After many tries, we contacted the reception. After two phone calls, we ended up having to send them our information, so they could complete the check in for us. We only got confirmation that it had been done when we had to contact them again. We booked a spacious double bedroom with one bed and one sofa. Once we got to the room, there were two single beds, no sofa and the room itself was smaller. On top of that, it was 27ºC outside (at 2am) and the air conditioning was extremely noisy. We spoke to the staff, who informed us that was the only room available, but that we could try get a "different" room the next day. If we wished to, we could "rearrange the beds ourselves and put them together". As for the air conditioning, we could "open the window since it was cool outside". The next day, there was no one at the reception, as usual. When we called the reception number about the room, they argued that our reservation was for that room, that we "should've asked specifically for a double bed" and that it was Booking's issue. They told us they'd check if there were any other rooms and they'd "call us 5 minutes after"...which they never did. We got tired of chasing the staff, really, so we didn't try anymore. We then contacted Booking, so we could verify if the issue was really theirs. They confirmed our original (and only) reservation and informed us that the details were communicated to the hotel. At check-out this was discussed again and staff still argued it was either our or Booking's fault. We were exhausted from going back and forth about this honestly. While we were checking out, we tried to get tobacco from the vending machine they have in the reception, but no product came out after we paid. We informed the staff, who told us to contact them.

“The experience with this hotel it was good... but dystopic. First, google sent us two times to a garbage disposal place when coming from the North (from the South it was ok). To the direction of the hotel: improve the directions for those coming from the North! Then, when I arrived, the self digital check in, it was a real pain... even asking to take picture of your ID to be uploaded... Finally, when I managed to find the entry... There was NO ONE there... nearly a sense of "The Shining", in a big and beautiful hotel was in the air. Nobody in the lobby, only a sign saying: If there is nobody here, go to the adjacent bar... where there was nobody... a feeling of complete emptiness was filling the atmosphere. Two ladies appeared outside talking over a table... I thought they were part of the staff. When I approached them, they answered: "Oh, no, we are just neighbors that came in to the (now empty) place up to a few minutes ago, to checkwhat is going on...". At the end someone appeared... apologizing.: "I had a couple of users with some difficulty", acknowledging she was overwhelmend. To the Hotel direction: Please do contract some more people if you want to maintain a professional Hotel!, Besides this, the hotel, experience and staff were lovely.,”

“Hotel itself was nice, decent enough location. Still have to drive 10 minutes to get to the centre. Staff were very accommodating · Cons: I booked a room with a double bed but we were given 2 single beds. Shower could do with a revamp. Other than that it was fine”
