“Very good location”

The best

One bedroom apartmant, amazing location. Near bus and metro station, very close to grocery shop, couple of cute restaurants. Has everything you need.

To be improved

Old building so windows are small almost no daylight, wooden floor that is quite loud, pipes and drainage that smell. But it is kind of to be expected in that type of buildings, old buildings in city centres.

“Avoid- key issues”

To be improved

The building is accessed by an app which didn't work. We had to wait for someone leaving the building to let us in. We insisted on getting a physical key as despite multiple resets the app still didn't work for any of us on the first day. There was no cot for our daughter despite having confirmed this multiple times in advance with the company (they delivered it later that night and waived the €30 charge). An unexpected €250 deposit was required on the day. Generally little things that showed poor maintenance (bathroom smelled of sewage, insufficient towels, TV remote needed new batteries, sofa bed not made up).

Good location and easy access via public transportation.

To be improved

The bathroom smelled terrible and was very uncomfortable, and the odor permeated the entire apartment. The dishwasher was broken, and we only received one toilet paper roll for four people staying three nights, which was insufficient. The apartment also appeared brighter in the pictures; it's an interior apartment, so it's quite dark.

“Well situated apartment in the center of Madrid.”

The best

The apartment is located very well. Accessing the apartment was easy, the building door can be opened via the internet, for the apartment door you have to tipe in a code.

To be improved

For the booking process I had to upload our passports. There was a slight smell in the bathroom. The dishwasher broke down - the host foffered to fix it immediately but we had to wait in the apartment for the repair team to arrive, which was not our plan originally.

“A great base in Madrid - everything is close and the apartment is comfortable”

The best

Great localization! Next to the main road but totally peaceful (window for the inside of the building - not very hot and quiet). The apartment is big enough for three persons to have a comfort zone. Very cosy, wooden floor, comfortable bed (the sofa not so much, but it's a sofa :) A very, very nice cafe at the bottom of the building, more of them nearby. Metro station 2 min., bus stop 1 min. Great view to the Puerta de Toledo. Three supermarkets on the same street. Very easy to live :) The apartment is clean, well-equipped, you can live there longer (we stayed for a week). Quick contact with the owner.

To be improved

The only complaint is the smell in the bathroom, but it's a tenement house, so it happens. And one more thing - you can only enter the building using an application on your mobile phone - if there is an internet failure (I had once), you have to wait until someone comes out and lets you in :)

“Excellent apartment in a good, quiet location”

The best

Excellent location, right by Puerto de Toledo metro, which has excellent links across the city. A short walk down to the river area Photos were accurate and in fact the sofa bed has been changed since the photos were taken and is now a comfortable ikea sofa bed. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Kitchen facilities were excellent, just what we needed for our short stay. Very quiet location, no noise at night. Management company were very responsive to messages and gave us the door code early when we arrived a few hours before 3pm check in Overall we were very pleased with our booking, we'd stay here again and recommend friends to stay.
