Puerto Principe PENSIÓN

I didn’t know that I had to get the check in details online…some travellers don’t have WiFi so would be really difficult if they got to the hotel and didn’t have any data to respond and get the check in details. This was a bit frustrating to be honest and I was sitting inside the building and having to go through the emails and download all the details to access the keys…and get the codes, which were more confusing than I expected. There was no member of staff there…and usually when I travel I only use WiFi and never have data, thank goodness I decided to for this trip. The room was bare and like a student dorm room. The shower leaked outside the shower door and they only gave a tiny sachet of liquid soap for handwashing which was gone in one use. This was frustrating. The room had a musty smell. Needs airing. The bed was a single - no comfort. Only a sheet cover, but there was a blanket folded on the bed which I didn’t believe was fresh, so didn’t use it. There was no AC and it was hot. The room was basic and clean. The bathroom was dated. It reminded me of the type of room you find when travelling in Thailand. Would never book again but the price was very cheap. I would pay more next time and have a better room.

A very nice room for a one night stay, main town accessible by bus nearby, room was very tidy!
