“Lovely quiet well maintained apartment home from home”

Well equipped kitchen-comfy beds - spotlessly clean including the shared entrances -plenty of towels and spare bedding so could change and wash -lift to upper floors - spacious- quiet - great location lovely sea walk - restaurants cafes very close - good paths for my wheelchair and slopes to cross the road -plenty of crossings - washing machine on rooftop - roof top equipped with chairs and loungers was lovely when you wanted a bit more room than the ‘sitting balcony’ and shade and sun on rooftop so suited all. Floor standing dans in both bedrooms - plenty closet space - walls all looked freshly painted so it really felt like home very quickly and we settled in - enjoyed it so much we will be booking again - Owners - very friendly and helpful - we didn’t have any issues but they assured us just to message if we did and that was reassuring-

To be improved

Not many wall sockets - 1 each side of bed used for lamp or need to unplug if you want your phone there. we brought double and bought mini multi extension - as only 1 in kitchen microwave was plugged in so you will have to unplug to boil kettle or use the toaster. We used a mini multi and worked just fine so just bring one along or they are everywhere to buy. Made it much easier Useful also if you are wanting to use hair styling tools in bedroom as 1 socket for fan you can then use hair tools and still have a cool fan. It’s not a big issue but if you have children with lots of electronics it’s worth bringing extra adapters -

“Lovely apartment, super location, gracious host, would return.”

The best

Lovely, spacious, clean and airy apartment with view of Tiede, the sea and Gigantes. Friendly welcome after the initial mix up. Felt safe and secure. Everything we needed to cook. sunny roof terrace for clothes washing and sunbathing with great views and easily accessible. Peaceful neighbourhood area, 2 mins walk from the costal path, near the school, quiet at night with some nice cafes just around the corner and supermarket 5 mins walk away.

To be improved

Shame the apartment owner did not respond to emails in the few days leading to our trip, so we could not contact them on our arrival and for a few hours had some serious worries that we might not have a place to stay. Definitely get his phone number contact early on in the email conversation.
