Pure Salt Garonda - Adults Only

We chose to travel to Mallorca in the offseason and it was awesome! The hotel staff were friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is in an excellent location not far from the city centre and in front of the beach. Buffet breakfast had a great selection of tasty food and look forward to every morning. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic hotel with lovely touches of luxury, safe and a very relaxed vibe.. got a request or query?.. no problem. The staff really do just want you to have the best time and nothing is too much trouble for them. Everyone in the team I encountered was brilliant but experienced during my stay excellence in particular from the reception staff (arrived late and still managed to book me into the restaurant of my choice with no rush, a great 'how are you' every morning and arranging a taxi on departure) and A'La Restaurant staff who are the friendliest bunch and the food is amazing. I stayed half board and it is well worth it, with ample choice and quality dishes. I didnt use the pool due to the time of year I visited, but did spend a little time sitting by it along with others who all seemed to be having a fantastic time too. The roof top bar gives the most amazing views ! The sea facing Junior Suites capture the sunshine and sea view beautifully and in my experience the housekeeping team left everything spotless. I will return and very soon ! Thanks to everyone in the team.

Great experience. Arrived at 7 AM after flying all night. Upgraded our room and got us into our place by 9 AM. Across from the beautiful beach.

We wanted a week of relaxation and sun and got exactly that at the Garonda. From reception right up to Sky Bar all the staff were efficient, cheerful, helpful, happy and polite. A great team. The food was excellent with a good range of restaurants - International, Spanish and Italian. Breakfast was a buffet with virtually anything you could fancy. From very fresh bread to continental and onto a chef on hand to cook for your requirements. Our room had a sea view with morning sun and was kept spotlessly clean; as were all public spaces. The Spa was available daily and there was also a gym for the super active! Hotel is well positioned on the front row of the bay so views are very scenic. Overall our favourite restaurant was the Spanish - but they were all good. If you are half board and just require a sandwich at lunchtime then walk 50 metres left out of the hotel and visit the Juma 3 supermarket. Best sarnies on the island.

Beautiful hotel right across from a fabulous beach. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Our suite had an amazing view of the coast, and breakfast each morning on the sunny terrace was excellent.

I will try to describe in an objective way how I experienced Pure Salt Garonda. First of all, I want to emphasize that I have extremely high standards, simply because I have a high standard at home. I don’t want to travel somewhere and end up with a worse experience than what I already have at home. An important part of this review is that we stayed here in early September, when the “high season” was coming to an end. This meant it was unusually calm. I definitely don’t think I would have had the same impression if I had gone in July/August. There were still a few drunken German youngsters with propeller hats around, but they were in a clear minority. As for the hotel itself, it really is worth 5 stars. The service is excellent, even though you can tell that staffing is lower compared to the middle of summer. The reception staff are friendly and help you with everything from booking taxis to reserving tables at restaurants. The rooms are fresh and clean. Everything is nicely decorated, and the bathrooms are super modern and spacious. The beds and pillows are comfortable compared to many other hotel beds. There is a fantastic rooftop bar with an amazing view, and on some days there’s a DJ playing lounge music. The hotel’s restaurant serves a perfectly executed hotel breakfast, but in the evenings it transforms into a gourmet restaurant. I really mean high-end cuisine, a true experience. Some of the staff are a bit snobby, but that’s something I can overlook. At street level, you’ll find Mikel & Pintxo. An absolutely wonderful restaurant with excellent tapas, meat, and fish dishes. The pool area is perhaps the one thing that can be questioned, even though we never stayed there as we chose the beach every day. The problem is space. There are simply not enough sunbeds for all the hotel’s guests at the pool. On the other hand, there isn’t more room on the property to expand the area. The beach and sea by the hotel are absolutely fantastic. Clean, beautiful, with soft sand. The fact that they charge €60 for two sunbeds and an umbrella is definitely on the steep side, but of course, that’s not the hotel’s fault.
