Quiet pool and relax

Nothing really, quite a few reviews talk about the walk to the apartment. It is about 15monutes walk up hill from the beach - can be quite steep at times but we came to enjoy it as part of our post evening stroll. Bring up the hill meant it was quite and peaceful and there’s no traffic around.

We didn’t like that when we arrived at apartment the owner told us on the phone that we had to pay 50€ more for cleaning…this was not found on the their website or on booking.com….we were constantly harassed for the money during our three day stay…this was unsettling and we felt very uncomfortable…..

Unfortunately the peopery lacked some essentials which were reported to the management agents. An absolute minimum welcome kit is provided: 2 sachet of shower gel and 2 of shampoo. A bare minimum of liquid hand soap, 1 garbage bag. The rest we felt was left behind by previous occupants. There were no bathroom mats, floor very slippery, so we used one of the bath hand towels by the shower. Also, there were no kitchen towels. Again, another bath hand towel was used for this purpose. The washing machine was a wondering marvel ... I travelled through the whole open plan area during the spin. In the end, it was used only twice during the stay. The ceiling fans' remote controls had flat batteries we had to procure our own. One of the wardrobe doors had the edge removed, but the nails were left sticking out. We bent them not to get hurt. The shutter in the living room was coiled inside its storage, and we had to release it ourselves, was not an easy task. The property was probably affected by a flood from the flat above, it was clear there was still some water ingress into the false ceiling, but the bathroom door and architrave were badly compromised. Finally, it was not very important, but although listed in the facilities, there was no microwave. We felt that the property could be serviced and managed a bit better. The ceiling fans were good, but no aircon in the height of summer could be an issue. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, shame communications, and appreciation of what service means deducted points in our review
