Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Radisson Blu. As others have mentioned, it more closely resembles a boutique hotel rather than a big inner city hotel. But I much preferred this style. The Prado museum is right across the street and that was a big draw with us, but there is more to see and do in other parts of the city so a hotel closer to Plaza de Sol or Plaza Mayor might be more convenient. Our room was fine with plenty of electrical outlets to plug in all your devices. We especially liked the large bathroom and our King size bed was quite comfortable. Unfortunately, come of the furniture was broken or damaged. We informed the front desk, but nothing was done. Breakfast was good with plenty of different options. Best of all was Sofia who was on duty at the front desk each evening. She always greeted us with a smile and promptly delivered ice to our room. I would stay here again.

My family and I traveled to Spain last month. I booked this hotel based on a recommendation from my sister. Well, needless to say it did not live up to expectations. First of all, I booked this hotel months in advance and prepaid. We decided again months before the trip to alter our plans and I called to changed the reservation by 1 day! I was told because it was "prepaid" that I could not change the reservation. So, they charged me for a day I was not even there! Then we get there and they put us in basement rooms, which were dark, dank and smelled of mildew. The A/C was broken and the rooms were hot. We were told by maintenance that we could have "free breakfast", no thanks. The lotion and shower gels were left empty the whole time. The only positive thing I have to say is the location is great. Otherwise, save money and stay elsewhere.

This hotel is located very close to the Prado and is a great location for being able to walk everywhere. It is located on a a lovely street with a square with restaurants facing the hotel.

Exceptional service from all staff members, namely: Pablo Exceptional Services beyond your expectation. I organised a work meeting for a large group at the hotel and Pablo Gainzarain has been amazingly helpful and instrumental for the success of the meeting. He made sure everything worked well and was constantly attentive and responsive to any of our requests. The level of professionalism and kindness of Pablo was second to none. Thanks so much Pablo, you made our stay and our meeting so great that we will certainly be back ! Letícia You'll be treated like a king during breakfast by Leticia. a top breakfast is not only made of good ingredients and assortments (plenty at the Radisson Blue Prado) but also by those who serve you. Here Letícia makes a good breakfast become excellent and you'll not forget it for a long time and eventually be back 😉. Wendy Front desk staff that makes your stay perfect ! While on a working trip I needed frequent help from front desk staff, including printing some documents that I needed urgently. Sofia was extremely helpful amd efficient, keeping guest’s requests always front of mind. Thank so much Sofia. I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Prado in Madrid, and what was meant to be a stressful work trip turned into a genuinely relaxing and memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel incredibly welcome — especially by the wonderful receptionist, Wendy. Her kindness and attention to detail truly stood out, and she surprised me with an upgrade to a beautiful suite overlooking the street. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made my stay feel really special. The room itself was absolutely luxurious — spacious, stylish, and immaculately presented. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, which made a huge difference after a long work meeting. Every detail, from the service to the atmosphere, was spot on. Thanks to the team (and especially Wendy), what could have been a stressful few days turned into a relaxing treat. I’ll definitely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid. Thank you again for such a fantastic stay!

Amazing hotel, location is perfect.. close to Atocha station and all the attractions in city center. Very well maintained, modern clean rooms and nice bathrooms. I honestly didn’t want my holiday to end ..
