“Very clean & well-run guest house with great value, decent amenities”
* Very clean and thoughtfully maintained guest house in a safe neighborhood, about a 20-minute walk from the city center. Most of the walk can be past shops, markets, etc. * My private twin room was reasonably spacious with a desk, chair, nightstand, small closet and decent surfaces to keep my stuff. * Shared bathroom (shared with one other room) was clean and well-stocked with shampoo, soap, and other essentials. * Shower was spacious with good hot/cold control. * Room stayed cool inspite of hot summer thanks to blackout curtains, tinted windows, a fan, and 10 free hours of coin-operated AC (though I didn’t need all of it). * Well-equipped shared kitchen with cooking basics like tea, coffee, olive oil, salt, and soy sauce. Shared with 4-5 other rooms, although I didn't see anyone. Fridge shelves labeled for each room. * Easy check-in and check-out process with good security: key fobs for the building and apartment, plus a key fob for the room. Nice that my room was ready a bit early and I could check-in. * Two terraces available (though too hot to use during my stay). * Excellent value for a private room, especially compared to much pricier shared dorms in the city center. * Perfect for 1-2 nights
I would stay again next time I am in Malaga. Some minor things - during my stay, the shared spaces like the corridors, kitchen, and living room were hot to comfortably use due to lack of AC there. Bathroom (shared) also got quite warm during the day.
“Good place to spend a night or two in rather pricy Malaga.”
“Exceptional”
It was comfortable and clean. There were supermarkets nearby. Free parking on the streets.
“Superb”
“Malaga stay”
Air condition was extremely good and although you had to pay was cheap. Well equipped kitchen.
Rest of the house was like an oven.. Room was dated but clean but shower was grubby
“Misleading, bad experience”
Big and nice shared part, good kitchen, nice terrace
Misleading information about the room. I was sure I was booking something else, and not the cartoon box with the ugly bunk bed in the middle of it. At first, the room had a bunk bed, it's not a "double bed plus single bed". Second, this is ridiculous to put in description that EC is available and later inform that they will charge additionally for it, especially in that kind of weather (+36). So, simply it didn't work because I didn't want to pay additionally for it (50 cents per hour), and I had a terrible sleep there. Moreover: dirty, no toilet paper, poor quality of WiFi, very difficult check in instructions, suspicious neighbourhood, ants in the apartment. I would rather not stay here again even for a short time.
