Red House

The listing looked small and cute and we were expecting a small space. The location is good for access to other things, but the little town is small and out of the way and feels unsafe at the two bars. The electrics looked really unsafe; my brother’s an electrician and was concerned. The shower was dirty and we wouldn’t have felt comfortable using it. We found cockroaches in the house. Booking.com won’t permit upload of pictures of bugs. We booked a hostel and left because of the bugs and the electrics. The owners replied saying they didn’t agree to our original message saying we were unhappy and had to book another place to stay; they didn’t response to any messages after that. Can’t advise more strongly to stay away.

The two rooms below each other were very dark and depressing. You could hear everything in the upper room that was said below. It was also cold. If there had been something to heat a little, it wouldn't have been warm either, because there were so many gaps in the door and the floor. This won't be my favorite house. And there was not enough 24 hours outside to dry a pair of socks. How could be the towels...
