“Experience Segovia to the fullest”

So happy with this place! We had a beautiful apartment facing the cathedral and even though, it was quiet. Within walking distance to the Plaza Mayor where there were amazing restaurants- would recommend Pandora. The apartment itself was clean, there was a lift, super fast WiFi and we had everything that was needed for a good stay. Host was responsive, very helpful and kind- always met our every single request.

I would appreciate if there was a bathroom/hair shampoo soap dispenser available. The little soap bars are not good enough.

“Great location, spacious apartment, just needs some attention to amenities.”

Carlos met us, showed us the property and gave us the keys. The property is in a great location by the Segovia cathedral and quite spacious. The bed and couch were comfortable and the bedside lights were appreciated.

To be improved

There was no kettle, so we had to make a cup of tea using a saucepan, the wifi didn’t work much at all and Carlos showed us that the blind on the window overlooking the cathedral could not be pulled up - thus the view wasn’t available. He also told us the air conditioning wasn’t working. We can’t speak Spanish and Carlos couldn’t speak much English so I’m not sure if there were plans to fix the air conditioning. You would need air conditioning on hot days as the fan provided would not be adequate.

“Exceptional”

The best

The location is perfect, right in the historic city, free from vehicular traffic, and so quiet in the evening and night. Plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The autobus station is only 20 minutes walk away. Taxi rank is 400 metres (4minutes walk) from the apartment and right in Plaza Mayor. One of the two tourist information centres is 3 minutes walk from the apartment.

To be improved

The air conditioning did not allow for the room to be cooler. The temperature in the city ranged between 25 -31° and wishing to keep Mosquitoes out of the apartment we kept all windows closed from about 8pm to 7am.

“Good location with a clean small apartment that was functional for our needs. · Cons: Washing machine wouldn’t spin at all, but Carlos did try to get a technician and allowed use of an empty apartment to do washing.”
