“A horrendous expereince”

The only good thing about this place was that the nightmare experience gave me plenty of stories to tell my friends about how awful it was. I will never stay there again and I will strongly recommend that none of my friends do either.

I didn't like being woken up at 03.30 by a faulty room-safe that kept beeping intermittently every few minutes and didn't allow me to sleep. After various calls to the on-line number (there is no reception desk) a technician arrived a 04.45 to remove the faulty batteries that were causing the problem. (I have a video of this but I can't upload it here.) I didn't like the fact that I found cockroaches on the floor and had to kill them myself. (see photo) I didn't like that the auto-check is extremely difficult to use. Nor did I like that the so called “free Wi-Fi” requires handing over so much personal data and permission to do whatever they like with it (without any option to reject those particular demands) that I refused to use it. And top of all this, when I told the staff teh next day that I was going to complain they said that they had put a ‘warning’ up about me on booking.com claiming I was a violent and aggressive person. I want my money back for the loss of sleep, the horrendous experience and the threats to damage my reputation just because I was furious about not being able to sleep in a room I paid good money for. I will be claiming for compensation for all of the above.

“Definitely recommend this accommodation — it’s very practical and straightforward.”

Great location, about a 15–20 minute walk to the city center. Friendly service via WhatsApp — you can get all the information you need, and they’re ready to help with anything. They arranged a taxi for us the morning before our flight and secured low-cost parking for our rental car. The self check-in machine is easy to use.

“Wonderful apartments with a very convenient location”

Accommodation in the city center, right next to the bus station where airport buses arrive and island buses depart — very convenient. The self check-in was super helpful, as we had a late flight and arrived around 10 PM. The room was spacious and clean, and we received a complimentary upgrade. There was a fridge with water, and the air conditioning was on in the room — a very welcome touch after a hot day of travel. There’s a restaurant right below the apartment, with shops and cafés nearby. The city center and the seafront are just a 15-minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. Another big plus was the full blackout curtains — no light came through even during the day, which was perfect for sleeping. Also, the option to leave luggage in the storage room free of charge was very convenient.

Super close to the centre, check-in and check-out were super easy and contactless. You can get ahold of the reception staff rather easily and they’re extremely helpful. It felt comfortable, clean and enough for a couple of days. I’d like to stay here again!
