The staff and the equipment are really good

It was a wish to discover the Galician countryside that led us to discover the Arbo area and the Reginita apartments. We were very pleasantly surprised to step into a very high standard, super modern apartment, finished beautifully and made to feel very comfortable. This appartment is genuinely excellent – the bed was very comfortable, the shower and toilet worked perfectly, the underfloor heating kept the place pleasantly warm, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cater for ourselves- a full oven and 4 hob plus all the usual. There was definitely enough space to feel relaxed and to enjoy our time here – with high ceilings and large windows that led to a balcony, this apartment overlooked the Portuguese hills in the distance, and the morning mist created a perfect feeling was very pretty. In our view this was top quality holiday accommodation in a lovely railway town, which is still serviced by a train that can take you to both Vigo and Ourense. The location is fantastic – you will approach the turn for the Station Street of Arbo and meander down this very picturesque lane, enveloped by gorgeous houses built in the early 1900. At the bottom of the lane there’s plenty of room for parking your vehicle – no matter how big it might be. If you fancy a walk by the magnificent river Mino, it is just a 5 minute walk away, if you wish to take a walk into Portugal – just cross the bridge – this will take you 10 minutes! On the Portuguese side of the river you will find an amazing health spa, with hot springs of course! If you wish to discover other hot springs there’s so many locations available nearby as you head towards Ourense. I will always remember the orange and lemon trees growing everywhere, setting the scene for a memorable experience, so off the beaten track, but so amazing, worth coming back again and again.
