“Hotel full of traditional character with a fantastic restaurant.”
The best

Ideal location to explore the Sil Valley monasteries, vineyards and treks. Substantial gardens and easy parking. Great bar and restaurant with great staff. The included breakfast was really good and dining in the restaurant was excellent. The rooms ( only 6 or 7 ) were full of character in a stone-built rectory next to the old church in the centre of the village. Bathrooms were large.

To be improved

Could have used a twin bedded room in one room for travelling as a family. The room with the hydro pool was only a bath with jets. The bathroom only had sachets for soap / shampoo.

Great room, beautiful hotel and surroundings. We wanted to stay longer. Very nice restaurant right next to it.

To be improved

If you are there off season don’t expect “hotel treatment” with adjusted expectations you are going to enjoy your stay.

Irrelevant in our case.

To be improved

We never had a chance to stay here since it was locked on our arrival. There was no way to get in through the locked gates and the contact number was not manned - just a useless message. We shall be taking all these issues with Booking.com
