“Luxury room with a view!”

The best

Great property in the city center with amazing views of the Sagrada familia and the city is an ideal place to stay while in Barcelona. I stayed here during my visit to Barcelona in the first week of February. I did an early check in as I wanted to go to Montserrat that afternoon. My room was upgraded and IT had best view of the temple and the tower near by. Room was on the top floor and very cozy and well furnished. Breakfast on the 2nd floor was excellent, the spread was huge and had several local dishes to try. One could order the menu as well. Special thanks to Montse at the front desk who ensured that the room way ready and our requests were addressed. This is a very good place and I'll definitely go back.

“Great location, good rooms”

The best

Had a great time at the hotel. It is in a great location for walking to most places but also by a train line. Has some nice restaurants close by. Room was very modern, comfortable and clean and larger than most rooms. Also a big thank you to Ricardo who asked if we wanted to speak Spanish or English checking in and then asked me lots of questions in Spanish which allowed me to practice more. Really appreciated, especially as so many people will respond in English in most cases.

The best

Lots of problems with the staff at reception and the manager. Expected to pay a rate and ended up paying somethinv else. They even charged my credit card without my authorization. Not even appilogized. I would be very carefull when booking this hotel.

“Very Nice Hotel Overall”

The best

This Hotel is in a great location. The entire staff was welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Rooms were comfortable. The one issue that we experienced was resolved to our satisfaction. All very good.

“Renaissance Barcelona Review”

The best

From the moment we got to the hotel (in a Mercedes Van scheduled by the staff) we were instantly greeted by the doormen Mouhammad and the other (I can't remember his name), who took our bags and waited on us to check in. At the front desk we were greeted by the amazingly charismatic Cristina, who discussed with us our travel day, our plans for our stay and even pulled out a map of the city and recommended some great places to us, including how to traverse Barceloneta and which clubs had the best atmosphere as we wanted a taste of the authentic Barca nightlife. Then she told us of our upgraded room and the complimentary mini fridge items, and the trip couldn't have gotten off to a better start, as we needed a break and rest in our room. Not 5 minutes after getting to the room, our luggage arrived, and about 15 minutes after that we received a complimentary bottle of red and some chocolates from the hotel. What an amazing welcome! The rest of the stay was just as great, as we were able to talk with the Goja Rooftop hostess and reserve the couch just an hour in advance for our apertivos. Finally, upon departure (a 4pm checkout that Cristina input for us on the arrival) we were treated as friends of the staff as we'd been when we arrived and throughout our stay, always chatting, smiling and friendly. Also, if you ever need a boxed water, they're one step ahead of you and already handing it to you before the words can come out of your mouth! 10/10 experience, or 5 stars in this instance!

The best

With a great location, friendly and helpful staff, this hotel has you covered on your Barcelona trip. Goja, the rooftop bar gives you a great start into your evening, the breakfast is extensive and tasty. The rooms are functional and it’s quiet. A home away from home.
