After I booked this apartment, I received hundreds, yes hundreds, of messages with a link to provide personal details about our group. It was a scam, and the owners had been hacked. I ignored the messages, including those that arrived a couple of days before I was going to check in. When we arrived, the owners refused to let us in until we had completed an online form. They told us that the law required this check-in information before we could be admitted. This is not true; the law requires this information within 24 hours of arrival. We had stayed in fifteen places before Seville, and none of them had refused to let us in. Since we were stuck on the street, in the heat, with our luggage, I tried to complete the form. This failed because the booking reference provided by the owners was rejected. Eventually, they agreed to accept emailed copies of our passports. They then told me how to open the front door remotely. It didn't work. So they agreed to send someone to open the door. It would take 15 minutes. Meanwhile, a local man let us in with a key. It was well over an hour between arriving and getting into the apartment, all of it spent standing in the street like vagrants. There were further problems. There are two bedrooms, each with a bathroom nearby. The apartment description does not make clear that one of them is up a steep, high and terrifying spiral staircase. The downstairs bedroom has no door, so there is no privacy. Even if there was a door, it is easy to see into this bedroom while standing on the staircase. The dining chairs are old, sagging and uncomfortable. There is only one armchair, and it is held together with books shoved in a gap. The dishwasher is faulty; the detergent compartment does not close. The WiFi code was not provided. The owners should improve access, update the aging facilities, create privacy for the downstairs bedroom and give a proper warning about the dangerous staircase.

Unfortunately, the check-in to the apartment was very nervous. When booking, we were given a link to "Manual de la casa", but this link went to empty page. We asked several times for instructions in advance to understand how to get into the apartment and how to use the equipment, but we were refused. Why? They told me to just call phone when we get to the door. We called, and the girl did tell us something not very clearly about the door and the link on Booking,com, I asked her to repeat it because it was noisy bar next door. But she haven't explained anything to us. Normally, I don't use international calls or mobile Internet when traveling, as it's expensive and unnecessary, but this time I had to swiconnect right at the entrance, OK. When I opened Booking, I saw that they had sent me a link that would open the door remotely. I clicked the link, but it led to the "URL non valida" page! After several attempts, I wrote that the link was not working. Then we were told to ring the doorbell, press the link and press the door at the same time. It happened about the tenth time, when we were ready to give up everything. Entering the apartment cost a lot of nerves, as well as money for calls and the Internet. There was no visible information inside about the Wi-Fi network. In the upper bathroom, the toilet was broken, but we weren't told about this in advance. So pity, that I should write that. Usually I prefer to write nice words and say "Thanks a lot!"

Pillow shortage.

1. Pungent sewer smell permeated throughout the apartment from the top floor bathroom which rendered it unusable as you always had to keep the door closed. This appears to be a consistent problem with this apartment as I had seen similar complaints previously however I assumed upon booking this problem would have been fixed however that was not the case. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying there for an extended period of time due to health and hygiene hazards. I sent an email to the hosts informing them of the unsafe health hazard to patrons however all I received was a patronising response. 2. About 2 weeks prior to our arrival their website was hacked and i was receiving numerous phishing emails everyday. As a result i decided to go to their offices prior to arrival and provide our personal details in person rather than electronically. 3. The shower was very weak.
