“Great option if you're looking for an affordable stay, but quite a rough area.”

The best

We were very impressed by breakfast that was included. You got coupons for a little bar where you could get a variety of options (like a piece of tortilla) and a hot beverage and orange juice! The space was also very pleasant, and it was hotel treatment in terms of cleaning and services. If you are looking for an affordable option which has all amenities, I would highly recommend.

To be improved

The location was not ideal. Although it was not far from the centre or old-town it was located in a rather rough area. If I would have stayed there alone I would have felt a bit uncomfortable coming back in the evening but since I was not it was fine. Additionally, it can be a bit noisy due to this environment although it generally calms down at night.

There are people hanging around the front of the hotel the whole time. Police presence suggests that it is not safe. Nothing the hotel can do of course. Once indoors you feel safe though”

“Friendly staff and affordable stay”

The best

I liked that it was affordable and the staff were all friendly and commendable. The place was located in a busy neighbourhood; there was a lot of noise even at night. It did get better when I closed the window, but then I wanted some air at some point. Otherwise, it was affordable, so I was overall satisfied. It was also very close to the Metro, which was another bonus.

To be improved

It was located in a busy neighbourhood where a lot of men stayed and hung out on the streets, so I was apprehensive when out, especially at night as a lone traveller.

“OK”

The best

Staffs were very helpful. There is air-conditioner, TV, place to have food and even a ping-pong table in the common area.

To be improved

The room we reserved is quite small. Since it faced the street and people were coming and going all day long, we decided to close the curtains to avoid being seen. This resulted in poor airflow and ventilation (no AC in the room), which may have made the room uncomfortable.

“Lovely affordable room”

The best

Great location & facilities. Friendly and helpful staff! Lovely common areas, has lots of books, the room, a massive kitchen and even a table football. The rooms were very well equipped, and although they didn't have AC, they gave us a fan for each room, which did the job perfectly. Will definitely recommend and come back!

To be improved

Nothing to complain about, just be aware that there are some people around the premises selling stuff and the police are always around asking them to leave. Nothing to worry about, but it is good to know what to expect.
