Nothing, it was a very unpleasant stay

they were revamping so we didn’t have any entertainment for kids Bathrooms weren’t cleaned once in the 3 days we stayed, Pictures on site show tv and cutlery - none of this is available

The best

Spacious and practical (for a single room). There was a mini kitchen, which included a small fridge. Good cool Aircon. Comfortable single bed. Large desk/table. Good wardrobe with hangers. Loads of plug sockets (I counted 7). Very quiet. Good free parking. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Nearby Burger King and Mercadona (about 10 mins walk). I was allowed an early check in (about 1pm). Good free wifi.

To be improved

The chair had a small split in the cover, however it did not affect it's use. Still comfartable and practical. It is some distance from the town centre (Alcalá de Henares).

“Cheap and cheerful but bring your own picnic basket with pots and cutlery”

It’s basic and cheap but very clean and quiet, it had all the facilities and a small bathroom and adequate shower, in addition the supermarket was a 2 minute drive away so very handy. There’s a lift to the floors to so no lugging up and down the stairs. Internet was decent too. Good value

To be improved

There was a kitchen but no cutlery or plates or anything, this is a permanent live in place during term so they expect you to bring your own, we did not and lived on plastic plates and forks and spoons, so if you want coffee you need your own kettle etc. parking is also a bit hit and miss but there’s lots of roads about to park if you don’t mind walking

Despite saying it was a well equipped kitchen there were no pots, crockery or cutlery. The staff did rectify it in the end but Booking shouldn’t describe it as something it’s not.

“The receptionists were very helpful and accommodating. Nothing was a problem, they were ready to advise. Breakfast was basic but nice with friendly service. The room facilities were older but everything worked. The old town is easy to get to from the place by bus easily. It is a very nice and quiet place, good even for a few days.”
