“defo good for short break, but with no transport links you require a car or taxis”

host Antonio was very accommodating and always on hand to offer any advice. Quiet and peaceful resort, ideal for short break or base if using own transport to explore wider area.

To be improved

Altaona Golf resort area has 2 main bar/restaurants (gastrobar & the hub) could do with more choice and would be better if had onsite market to purchase provisions

“Fabulous family apartment, with great facilities and welcoming host”

A hidden gem, located an hour away from Alicante airport, Cartagena or Murcia. Great touring base for seeing the real Spain. The host was very welcoming and the apartment really is as lovely as all the other reviews say. The pools were very quiet, the whole complex is clean, quiet and secure. The apartment was spacious and clean, has everything you need. Also there has been additions from previous comments and now has an enormous smart screen TV and a coffee maker. Antonio gave us a guided tour when we arrived, which was very helpful and welcoming. Can’t wait to return!
