“Great location and resort facilities but despite the advertisement, it only has one bathroom”

The resort is secure and has its own pool, gym, mini-mart and free onsite parking. It's very close to a nice beach and within walking distance of a train station into Barcelona and an Aldi supermarket. There was good communication with the owner who provided clear instructions on how to access the resort (which can only be from one direction) and the security guard at the front gate was very helpful when we couldn't find a parking spot large enough for our SUV (apparently it's ok except in the busiest months to just park over two spots). When we expressed concern about mould in the air conditioner, the owner came immediately to clean it. There is a separate laundry with lots of line-drying space plus additional airing racks. The kitchen was well-equipped with enough crockery and utensils that we didn't need to wash up after every meal. The beds were comfortable and, despite the apartment being located between the train line and a busy road, there was no noise from either of those in the apartment.

To be improved

The apartment was advertised as having two bathrooms, which was important to us as we were a group of five adults. It only has one. When I brought this to the owner's attention, she said there had been a mistake and that the advertisement should have said ONE bathroom. Secondly, the bunk beds squeak very loudly whenever the occupant moves. It meant to people in that room had poor sleep because they kept being woken by the noise. There was a third minor issue, which might just be a cultural thing, but there was no top sheets provided on the beds or covers on the bedspreads/duvets.

“Lovely Barca Apartment”

The best

Absolutely beautiful and value for money. The apartment has everything you’d want for a family trip. Carrefour is nearby, Barcelona city centre is about 12 miles and the apartment complex is great. Gated complex with security and fabulous safe parking. The apartment is comfortable and lovely in a quiet location. The host is helpful.

To be improved

It gets direct sunlight only in the early morning hours. But tht doesn’t bother much with the overall experience. There is a weirdo staying upstairs whose active hours are from night 9pm to morning 9am. He/she will make all the possible noises. Don’t know if it’s intentional or not but definitely annoying. Anyways most days we were out but it bothers when you need a good nights sleep. Funny person for sure.
