“Noisy construction”

The best

A clean, safe apartment 5 minutes walk from the beach and a Spar. 15 minutes walk to Consum. The owner gave clear communication about the keys and provided a hairdryer and extra blanket on request. Plenty of pots and pans and a full oven. Good shower with plenty of hot water.

To be improved

The description said a view of the mountains, which used to be true, but now (end October 2023) the balcony view is of 2 building sites with 2 cranes, side by side. There was a Height for Hire 3rd crane which started work at 7.10 am and the building sites worked from 8am to 4 pm 6 days a week. Very noisy. Also, the balcony only gets a sliver of sun in the afternoon. Moving to another apartment was not an option and the owner suggested that we could sunbathe at the pool. This was true, but there were no chairs or sun loungers at the pool. I had really looked forward to this much-needed break and I would have appreciated being told about the construction work when booking.
