“A holiday from hell !”

The fact that when I arrived at the property in the evening I was informed that there was no hot water or a microwave! The owner apparently was aware of the issues before my arrival but still proceeded with the booking! Although I did receive some compensation for my pain , suffering and inconvenience the problems sadly continued with the cutting of the electricity supply which meant I had to move apartments! The "new" apartment also had issues like a faulty lock on the access door, a broken window which I was told not to touch or else the window might fall out and finally the hob on the cooker which did not work properly and this left me with a problem with cooking! All in all "a holiday " from hell and one I would hope never to have to experience again!

It was an exceptional location over looking the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. I was very impressed and would highly recommend staying there. The balcony had a lovely sea view and breeze coming in and also the swimming pool downstairs was very good.

“A good base”

The best

For a base in Calahonda with a view of the sea this is a good choice. The local manager is particularly helpful. The apartment is clean and well maintained. Bars and cafés are close at hand. I'd say book if you need to keep an eye on your costs.

To be improved

The apartment is rather small. The bed takes up pretty much all of the bedroom. The sitting room is what estate agents would call compact. I did not find the TV easy to operate and the manager arranged assistance.
