No internet- we didn’t recognize this though found a mobile carrier solution. Dated furnishings and uncomfortable beds. Not good Value for money : overpriced imo. Nice views to sea (sea opposite the house has limited accessibility so best to go further down to public space).

The flat is along a road coasting a cliff, which luckily is not busy, at least at this period of the year (May). I wrote to the landlady to know whether the flat was on the first floor (better sea view) or not but no answer received (in fact, my first sight from the ground floor was my car). Instead, the day of the stay, she asked me to pay the 300 euros deposit before to get the key-code for the 16 hours stay I booked for, which I was unaware of. It is indeed specified in the bottom of the extra info, to cover eventual damages, so ultimately my mistake as I would never book 190 euros + 300 deposit for just one night stay (deposit anyway returned the next day). I expressed my concerns even to the Booking customer care, as I found the deposit not clearly visible and quite disproportionate (appliances quite old, nothing else of substantial value to justify that amount of money). The check in is at 16 hours, quite late in a day, but we arrive even later (20:30). The next morning we had the time for just a walk and I mixed up the check out time as I thought was 12 hrs: in fact the landlady called me at 11:30 hurrying me to leave the property immediately as it was meant to be left at 11 hrs. I understand rules are rules, but there might be some elasticity/allowance, especially for such short stays ... or at least this is the sort of attitude I have always received from other properties of Booking. Of further note, the swimming pool was dirty and not viable. We left at 12 hrs with an unpleasant feeling of not having been welcomed and not having enjoyed the place.
