There is no food or drink available at the hotel, no staff to welcome you just a key left out. Warning no air conditioning and we had 36c and the outdoors is full of flies so couldn’t have the windows open at all. Light switches very dodgy and toilet flush broken had to put hand inside to flush. Read all the reviews as I didn’t and luckily only stayed one night. To sum up definitely wouldn’t stop again.

No aircon and our room had not had the curtains closed so the sun has been blaring in all day. Tiles were hot . Couldn’t open the windows due to excessive flies and no fly screens . No shutters either. Toilet seat was broken . No shower just hose over the bath . Broken floor tiles . Sink is in the bedroom, which I don’t like . Should be by the toilet in my opinion. The building is v tired albeit beautiful . Broken glass on courtyard floor . Broken lighting laying on the floor. Chair in our room had ripped fabric . The owner was quite friendly ish . He told us there was a bar that would provide lots of different types of foods. There is only one bar . It was the most awful unfriendly experience . The only sold sandwiches . We were also told we could take our dog. They would not let us in with the dog . The staff clearly didn’t want us there . It’s a shame , the owner should try and speak to his neighbours . Surely it’s for the benefit of the hotel and bar if they are more welcoming . The town was deserted . It’s ideal if your driving through as it’s so close to the a63 . It’s a great pity . So much potential . Also breakfast was not untill 9 which is too late when you’re travelling through, so we left without.

Location is away from everything. Shouldn't be a problem, but no bar nor restaurant open. All closed. Had to drive 5km for meal. Haven't seen any staff. 3 sets of keys, for 3 different reservations/rooms where on the counter at reception. At checkout again, nobody to see. Wejust dropped the keys where we found them the night before. The court yard when entering premises sports an abandoned hotel. One should drive up the ramp to the back for the real thing, but no signs. Almost left the place as we thought it had closed down. We were not the only people confused by that.

No Bar no food. False advertising.
