Rincón Sol

Best possible view: right in front of the water, no obstructions and, best of all, NO CARS! It is so rare these days to find a property without a road in front... Strong sound of the waves - this is how we fell asleep and woke up in the morning. Absolutely beautiful! The hotel is old and simple but extremely clean and the staff were very attentive. It really felt like stepping into the past, in the best possible sense!

We love this hotel. Have visited regularly (each year at least once a year, sometimes twice) since December 2016. Each stay has been wonderful. All staff wonderful - Reception, Room Attendants, Breakfast and Evening Restaurant. Room lovely and exceptionally clean. Breakfast and dinner are lovely. Thank you so much.

I was travelling alone and felt very safe while staying at the Rincon Sol. I also ate in the restaurant alone twice and was made to feel very welcome by the staff. Food was good. I had a sea view room which was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. It's true what a lot of people say, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything next door. Yes there's noise from outside but this is Andalucia and ... la gente vive en la calle. Getting upset about that is like going to England and getting upset about the weather. I'm afraid I agree with a review saying that the breakfast waiter dislikes the English. I sadly agree with that. He pretended not to understand my Spanish (everyone else could) insisting on speaking at me in dreadful English but very gruffly getting the point across that I was too late for breakfast. Granted it was 5 minutes before service stopped but I didn't set the times. This is Spain and people are on holiday! Address the attitude of any Brit-despising staff and I'll definitely stay again. Your Mayor is making a big effort to e courage tourism from the UK so it's a shame that British tourists don't always feel welcome in one of your principal hotels. Reception staff were ok, though could have been friendlier and the lady who cleaned was absolutely charming. I used to visit Rincon a lot in the 1980s. It was so lovely to be back but yes, there's a definite coolness towards tourists from some which is such a shame.

We took our grandson for a weeks holiday, he's 20. Overall a lovely stay. We had a double & a single room, so seen both views. His room had a sea view, beautiful! We had city view which was very noisy with traffic which isn't hotels fault. Not a lot to do but relax. Plenty eateries on the beach, which we ok. Hardly any English speaking done here. Facilities were ok, had breakfast every morning which, for €8 was plentiful.good choices. Very clean & friendly staff, thank you Rincon Sol, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for a week in September, hotel had nice spacious room we were in 105, city view but nice balcony. Staff were really helpful and friendly, place was clean, we didn’t have any food at the hotel but had drinks and they were lovely. Would deffo stop there again

Good choice for the transit people. Clean hotel, very modern and comfortable. Big room. Helpfull stuff.
