“Great apartment for enjoying Bilbao and the local area”

A great apartment in a super convenient location - an easy journey into the centre of Bilbao and a short walk to a small locals beach after crossing the river on the ferry boat or transporter bridge. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the host was helpful and responsive.

Inside was perfect. Very inviting and homely. Free parking was close by. Good train transport to Bilbao city centre.

There a number of facilities in the listing of this property that do not exist. There is no private parking on site, no oven (only a microwave), no air conditioning, no dishwasher, no bidet and no trouser press.

“We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Very luxurious apartment in a beautiful location.”

The best

This very spacious apartment, in a historic building was superb with 2 beautiful balconies looking out over the river by the fountain. The furnishings and fittings very high quality. The apartment was also well equipped and had an excellent kitchen, bathroom and shower. Superb location near Vizcaya/Bizkaia Bridge, only 100mtrs from train station for the 20 min trip into centre of Bilbao. There are some lovely walks on both sides of the river as well as many tapas bars shops and other amenities. Our host was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries.

Only a minor issue: it was tricky to find an on-street parking space as the area can be very busy, but fine once parked.
