“Excellent facilities, spacious, good kitchen, and comfy beds, but location is nothing special.”

The best

The apartment was very spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped. It was very clean and had everything you need for a short or long stay. The hostess was super friendly and helpful, and she did all she could to help us relocate as the internet was down and no idea when it would be restored. There was a small pool to cool off in.

To be improved

The big problem was that the internet was down when we arrived, so we only stayed one night and then moved. Villanua as location has nothing special to offer, and the hotel is located right behind a gas station. We ended up being glad that we moved to Canfranc-Estacion which was picturesque and very convenient for beautiful hiking.

“Comfortable but disappointing”

The apartment was very spacious for just the two of us. It was lovely to have a courtyard to sit outside at the end of the day.

To be improved

We believed there was Wifi but when we arrived we were informed there wasn’t any. This is a nuisance when you expect to have it as we require it to book accommodation ahead of us. Also it would have prevented the stress we experienced when we had our next apartment cancel on us and we turned up there at 6.30 pm only to find we now had no accommodation for that evening. If it is advertised as having Wifi it should have it.

“Good heating, hot water, full kitchen, nice and quite, free parking. There is a storage place for your skies downstairs, but with no heating :( Iberdrola is installing EV charging station near the hotel, but it was inactive during our stay. The road to Astún take around 20 minutes. · Cons: Wi-Fi didn't work, but the place has nice 5G coverage. Handles on the doors in the kitchen were dirty, covered with something sticky – we cleaned them ourselves. Restaurant didn't work, but there are some places nearby and a good grocery store.”

“We cut our stay short because of poor weather”

Location - very helpful receptionist.

Clearly the low season. No wifi in the room despite statements to the contrary. We were told it was not working but we could access internet near reception.
