Room in a shared apartment in the very center Madrid!

Had a mixed experience regarding the check-in. We reached Madrid at 7 AM and the primary reason for booking this place was that it mentioned 24-hour check-in and check-out. We also mentioned it in the special request section. However, one day before the journey we were informed that we would not be able to check in before noon. At that stage, we could not change the plan and after reaching the place at 8 AM, for the first hour, the host did not pick up the call. After that, he supposedly took another hour to clean our room and finally let us in at 10 AM. He later also asked me to pay him an additional amount for early check-in which I also paid. My only concern is, if he would not have mentioned the '24-hour check-in' I would rather go for a different hotel or hostel. I now see that specific check-in and check-out times have been removed from the property description. :-)
