Reception staff excellent, bar staff hit and miss,I am astounded that as a resident I couldn't get s coffee in the roof bar at 10.45pm. I wanted a coffee and a brandy and my wife a cocktail but instead we left. Room was good.

Front of house amazing.. very welcoming and very helpful.. staff at pool bar not so much.. (Lola) hotel fantastic location, breakfast 5/10, you had to keep asking for hot food.. eggs/bacon etc.. otherwise selection very good. Our room on the ground floor was very dark so had to have the lights on permanently and curtains closed.. overall loved Malaga..

Absolutely beautiful hotel, location is perfect and the staff could honestly not do more for you. The reception area is stunning and clean snd smells really nice! When checking in, the man on reception was so wonderful and helpful. The check in experience was easy and simple and then headed to our room. Room was stunning, all modern and with everything you could possibly need. Bed was so comfortable, bath in the room is a nice touch. Bathroom was clean and lovely. Honestly thought it was perfect! The room also had little festive biscuits and plan for the timings of Santa Semana event which is a beautiful touch and little chocolates which is also a plus! Dyson hairdryer and straightners available! Love it all! Security present at all times we saw so that is always good and he was polite too. Couldn't fault it at all and we will be booking again next time we go, without a doubt. Really lovely end to a beautiful trip.

Stayed last monday till thursday fantastic from moment we got there room clean beds so comfy the staff at front desk so helpful and kind food in resterount first class and not to expensive but the best is the roof top bar great views of the hourber and the sangria is wow special mention to lola who looked after me and the wifey lovely and kind women cant wait to come back next year its a 10 fron me 🥰

Great location, the beach and city are both within walking distance, really easy to get to and from the central Alamada train station for ease of getting to and from the airport. Turn right out of the hotel and walk in a straight line, cross the bridge and there it is, perfect. The hotel itself is fantastic, the staff are amazing, really friendly, polite and helpful. We had a room with a harbour view, it was great, the rain shower was fantastic. We had one issue on our first day: the door to our room wouldn't lock when we left, and you could get back in without using the room key. My partner went to the reception to report the issue, and one of the ladies at reception came back up to check the issue. She immediately returned downstairs, within a couple of minutes, she rang the room to inform us that someone from maintenance was on route, moments later, he arrived. Within 15 minutes, he had changed the lock, tidied everything up, got me to check that I was happy with what he had done, and he was gone. Hotel has a great atmosphere, relaxed, peacful. Personally, you have to judge places on how they deal with issues; that is the true measure of somewhere, on that basis, this hotel is exceptional. Cleanliness was great, you could see every day that the room had been hoovered, tea and coffee re-stocked, couldn't fault anything. Thank you to Faty, who looked after our room. Even though our room overlooked the harbour and had a busy road nearby, with the doors closed it was so quiet. Will definitely return, in fact, we were already pricing up to return later this year. Only wish i knew all of the names of the staff we dealt with to thank them for everything they did for us and for making our staff so great, thank you to all of you, Muchas Gracias.

There is very little to fault this hotel. It has been beautifully finished to a very high standard. On the whole, the team are very friendly and attentive. Location The location is great - yes it's next to a busy road, but slightly set back and the windows block out the noise (note: I was on the front in the 'newer' section so can't speak for the older looking rooms). The marina is in sight, you're right at the end of the main shopping street, and just 15 minute walk from Malagueta beach. I walked to the main train station which has a shopping centre and supermarket, and this took around 20 minutes. I got a taxi back for €5. Getting there I got the train from the airport to the Alameda station - £1.56!! From there it was a very simple (literally cross the road and keep walking straight) 15-20 minute walk directly to the hotel, but I admit it was a little tricky with a heavy suitcase. I checked out the cost of an uber and it was about £16 and 25minutes ish - definitely worth it if there are a few of you. Rooms Beautifully - if a little aggressively - decorated, but clearly very well thought out. Plenty of sockets, a safe, fridge and lots of storage. Would've preferred another mirror somewhere with more light/easier to access, but thats the only thing I can think of. Pool area Absolutely gorgeous. You won't be swimming laps, but the pool size is great for a dip and splash around - and it's tucked out of the way so not on show to everyone. I'd say it was only in the direct eyeline of 2-3 beds. There are 10 day beds that seat two people - although one is slightly larger - and five individual loungers. Shade is limited with only four parasols so if you're not a sun lover, I'd recommend getting there early (it opens at 11am). Being on the rooftop, it gets a lovely breeze - definitely needed in height of summer! What I loved is that the pool/lounging area is completely separate to the bar (it is on the right, bar on the left), so you're not feeling awkward in your swimwear around people coming for a drink - especially later on in the day. My first pool day, the team were so lovely and I was able to drink from my own water bottle and eat my pretzel sticks (other guests brought sandwiches and other food), but on subsequent visits the bar manager was much more strict and refused to allow any external food or drink (I had a bottle of water and some pineapple from the supermarket). I understand for other drinks (which I did also buy from the bar), but water and small snacks seemed a little extreme, especially as the only food the bar serves is a cheese or meat board. This was disappointing and made me feel constantly watched on what should have been a relaxing pool time. Rooftop bar Again, very well thought out - does seat a lot of people but not compacted. Great selection of drinks - although spirits and cocktails tasted watery - and clearly very popular with the public as well as hotel guests. It has an excellent view over the port and marina, and does have a good amount of shade for most of the day. You do have to work quite hard to get the attention of the team sometimes, seemingly mainly when there weren't many people in the bar. Although it's open until 2am, I couldn't hear a thing from my room which was directly underneath albeit two floors below. On the whole, I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Malaga. The slightly higher price tag is represented in the decor, cleanliness and team, as well as the fantastic amenities.
