Room Mate Oscar, Madrid

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. The location is perfect. Only a few steps away from Grand Via and 10 minute walk to the main area with all the shops, bars and restaurants. But I recommend exploring the streets surrounding the hotel too as there are lots of hidden gems to discover (bars and restaurants). The check in staff gave us such a warm and friendly welcome and gave us lots of recommendations of places to visit and eat. The room was immaculately clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Our room overlooked the Plaza de Pedro Zerolo. We left our window open all night, so there was a bit of noise from the trucks emptying the dustbins and bottle banks at all hours. But don’t let this put you off. The double glazed window and inner window helps greatly with the noise. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the whole team involved in making our stay simply perfect.

Our 7th time visiting Madrid and our 5th time staying in the Oscar. As usual, everything was perfect from arriving to leaving. The very warm welcome on arrival from the team is fantastic. The room as usual was great and was kept immaculately clean throughout our stay (thanks for the cleaning team). Always a friendly smile and hello from the desk on our way in and out each day and night. Very much looking forward to June for our next visit.

Location, easy for walking everywhere , museums etc.

This was my second time staying here. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. The corner room on the second floor was spacious and had great views of the square. The location allowed us to walk to so many attractions and restaurants. There was even a refrigerator and coffee in the room for the win!

We stayed here for just under a week and, although not our first time in Madrid, it was our first time in this hotel. Our experience was fantastic. The location is right in the center of everything and our check-in with Jason at the front desk was outstanding. He offered several recommendations of places to eat and answered all our questions on the area. He was really knowledgeable about everything and always went out of his way to make sure all our needs were met. Our room was really clean and the bed was super, super comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job and every afternoon we returned from our day of sightseeing, it was awesome to find a sparkling clean room. They have a breakfast option available as well as tea and coffee and mini bar in the room. The room was very spacious and having the toilet totally separate from the shower and sink was great!! We will definitely return here on our next stay in Madrid. They have an impressive rooftop bar which was undergoing updates while we were there, so we especially look forward to enjoying that on our return stay!

A great one night stay at this central hotel. We had everything we needed and there was a good selection available for breakfast. Left luggage was also easy.
