Rosales Residences

The bathroom is embarrassingly small. Too small even for one person without windows or an airing system to remove odours and steam from the shower. There is no wardrobe in the room but only hangers, which are not enough to accommodate two people's clothes, although there is space to place a wardrobe. The bed caused me backache. In general there was little care in the room and this could be seen from the desk chair which had two broken wheels and the remote control of the fan which had no battery cover. Finally, there is little privacy in the room, you can hear everything that goes on in the next room and other people can hear everything that goes on in your room.

We knew the room didn’t have air conditioning - it wasn’t unbearable. But it’s strange that there’s air conditioning throughout the hallways, while some rooms don’t have any. The elevator only started working on the third day. In conclusion, our accommodation was nothing like the pictures. The decor and finishes (walls, installations, tiles, etc.) were in terrible condition. It’s a good idea to check with the owners which room you’ll be assigned and ask them to send a photo before you arrive, so you know what to expect.

A neglected grubby box room in dire need of repairs. Poor quality furniture, broken handles to door and windows. It was cheap but really not fit for the market.

It was very hot at the time in Madrid, so the ceiling fan wasn't enough to cool the room.
