“Great apartment with a comfortable bed in a quiet laneway close to the attractions.”

The host was exceptional and nothing was a problem, even found me a hairdresser and booked us taxis. The apartment felt like home as it also had a washing machine, lounge and dining room. It could sleep a family of 5 with small children as the lounge was very comfortable. The location was great as it is a short walk through the windy streets to the main attractions. Wifi was also very good and our host had a list of recommendations of places to visit and restaurants.

The kitchen was cosy but well equiped.

“Good luck finding this place with absent host”

Never saw host, despite having a prior email from him saying he would meet us with keys. Nightmare at the train station when, after waiting 20 minutes in cab line, the driver at the front of the line looked at the address of this apartment and said he could not take us there. Only the protests of other people in line persuaded him to get us "as close as possible." Turned out that address was in the historical district, where cars are not permitted. I had asked host for a map (he never provided one). NOR does his booking description warn the renter that they will have to walk uphill dragging heaving suitcases into a kasbah type situation with curving streets and many turns to take, unsure of where you are. If he were to list this property on AirBnB, it would be censored and eliminated after the first tenant. His unhelpful message to us claimed he manages 61 apartments, but he was absent on this one. Very scary.

We communicated with Alvaro and he was very kind and helpful. The apartment is big with a lot of space and everything looks new. The location is perfect, 3 min walk to the city center.

“A wonderful holiday home”

Rosas en la Balconada is truly a home away from home. We were the first to be hosted at this apartment and we could not be happier. The apartment is exactly the same as the pictures on booking.com. It is a clean and spacious apartment. It has everything you need. The owner Angeles has thought about every single detail and item, including a welcome chocolate basket. This may have been the perk of being the first guests but knowing her, I believe it is who she is, a very kind, welcoming and thoughtful host. My two friends and I initially booked for 2 days in Cordoba, but one of our party ended up staying 6 days. This apartment is special and we would book again. In addition to all of this, the location and proximity to everything is also perfect!!!!!
