“Traditional stone house in a quiet village.”

The best

Traditional house in a quiet village. Living room, kitchen, enclosed courtyard with toilet on ground floor, bedroom and bathroom with a great shower on the first. Two bedrooms locked. Separate garage/storage area at rear for overnight secure storage of our cycles. Cold during our stay and house cools down quickly, after electric heaters turned off. We didn’t like to leave them on constantly. €150 asked for in case of damage. Quickly returned on our day of departure. Careful of the flimsy banister on the first floor landing. Needs securing better. Restaurant nearby, (El Pins) but only open during the day. Three bars in village, but all lacked atmosphere during our stay. Well stocked small supermarket virtually next door. Church close by to the rear with hourly and half hour clock bells. But bells are quiet after 23:00 to 08:00. Narrow streets in the village with limited parking, but we were lucky and were able to park right outside the door. Franc and his Mum are very helpful and friendly. Provided us with details of places we could visit.

To be improved

If possible, house would benefit from better thermal insulation to reduce heat loss and use of heaters.

“Very nice and quiet place to stay”

The best

Very friendly hosts, providing tips for trips. Nice place, very nicely located in the town. A good supermarket is just 2 steps away. A bigger supermarket just a 10 min drive away. It's nice and quiet. There is good air-conditioning. It has a well equipped kitchen. And you could try the paella of fideua from restaurant Els Pins nearby.

To be improved

Just be prepared to walk a little through the town from and to your car, because finding a place to park takes some time and experience. The internet speed is very good. Wifi coverage in one room is a little troublesome. Note that phone coverage is not so good. You may find yourself unreachable from phone calls sometimes and need to step outside to make a call...

“Great stay, if you like to experience authentic Spain, not for tourists and spend some time in an old place with charact”

The best

Small, decorated with taste and love house in a little town close to Valencia. Comfortable for the family. Well equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, air conditioned (a matter of life and death during the heat vawes ). Parking places available in the town (we could always find the one). Unique atmosphere, very friendly neighbours, little shops, bakeries, local market on Thursdays during the holidays. Very friendly Hosts (thanks for all!), immediate communication, willingness to assist in every situation.

Really nice rural house in a quiet small village.The hosts were super nice and helping people and the quality of wifi was exceptional and unexpected for this kind of place. Kitchen was well equipped with all needed appliances.
