I would not recommend this place for solo female travellers and for people who want to get some rest at night. The property did not manage to provide a safe environment for me as a guest and a solo female traveller. A large group of young men rented multiple rooms in the same hostel, they behaved in the aggressive manner as if the whole place belonged to them: - they cursed and shouted in the evening and at 5.30 am when they got back from party - they did not flash the toilet and left unhygienic conditions for others - they were pulling with force the handles of the doors and of the toilets and other rooms and I was scared to go out of the room, I had to wait for them to leave The property did not provide a proper service recovery for this unpleasant experience.

We had 2 rooms, one room had a bad smell. The other room above the street needed the window open all night due to no air con and only a ceiling fan. But this meant street noise was very loud, along with the ceiling fan. Somehow I half slept through it. At 2:30am things died down. Occasional shouts, shutters closing would wake me. At 6am, smells of food would start to wake me again as things started to wake up again. The rooms were very basic. No tea, coffee, kettle. No kitchen. No fridge. The mattresses were light and moved off their frames very easily, but were comfortable to sleep on. Was impossible to get warm water in the shower. It was either hot or cold.

Honestly no negatives! Had a great experience! Probs would benefit from some aircon though but had a fan and opening the window allowed for better circulation!!

I really have no complaints. I would just warn people who don't like noise that this might not be the place for them. Our room overlooked the street full of bars and restaurants and it was loud with the noise of people having a good time at night. One morning there was a group of people checking out talking loudly as well, and we were right at reception so they woke us up. This was not something that bothered us at all, but I can see it being a problem for a different type of traveller.
