Host greeted us with her friend drunk, didn’t show us around the apartment or complex (it was late so we didn’t ask and just went to bed). No working lights in small bedroom, room window is on the footpath so had to get ready in the dark with shutters down. Host gave me an electricians number and left me to arrange myself as she was busy with other clients, still not sorted by checkout. Main door lock is faulty when turning, we couldn’t access the apartment so contacted the host to let her know the key won’t turn, we had left a key in the door, didn’t realise this until locksmith arrived (host admitted she knows this is ok to do in the UK, then shouted I didn’t need to tell you about the lock, you are not stupid). We found locksmith invoices from previous guest who had issues too. The host Catherina arrived with a locksmith, Catherina was extremely aggressive and racist pointing in our faces telling me that she doesn’t like British people as they always cause her issues, told me that she doesn’t like to deal with my people as nothing is ever our fault, told me we are a problem for her. Took €200 security deposit, no receipt given, only returned €80 due to the lock issues €25 of this was returned in coins we gave notes. Edges in the showers dirty with mould. No access to the car park, security hub said they didn’t have access either to let us park, host should have given us a key fob. No private beach or shuttle service as advertised. No service desk as advertised, just a security hut with no English speaking staff.

The smell in the fridge which was like white vinegar had been used to clean it.
