“Relaxing! Wonderful hotel right on the beach”
A large modern minimalist hotel, which offers just as advertised. Situated right on a beautiful beach with access via a slope and some steps. Large bedroom and balcony with comfy super size bed. Luxury bathroom facilities and powerful shower. Buffet restaurant offers a good selection of meat, fish, vegetarian whilst also catering for gluten free guests. Restaurant service from staff was attentive, never having to wait for your drinks order to be taken or plates to be cleared. Live musicians/singers in bar most evenings. Overall a hotel that offers everything as advertised, we had a truly relaxing holiday with wonderful walks along the beach. The chipmunks are friendly too! Will definitely return 😊
“Large resort hotel on the coast out of town.”
Large resort hotel right on the coast. easy access to beach via a paved slope from the hotel gate. (although be aware that this beach is clothing optional) We had a sea-view room with balcony which was a nice room and a good size although why it had an over-bath shower rather than walk-in baffles me! Outdoor pool areas are very nice on both levels and both levels have a pool bar. The lower pools are heated. The larger upper pool is not. Indoor pool area is soul-less and unappealing. Water jets are in deep water area so you can’t stand under them and one didn’t work anyway, and small jacuzzi has been plonked on the side like an afterthought and was usually occupied. Sauna and steam area is large and very nice with plenty of relaxation space (booking is required), although it was a surprise that there was no small pool or jacuzzi in the sauna and steam area. Check-in procedure was very slow and clunky, and definitely needs to be more streamlined. We were not offered to have our bags taken or be shown to our room, and the layout of the hotel is very confusing and really not well signposted. Bit of a design failure in the layout! It is however possible to access all areas using lifts if you are less mobile, once you work out which lifts to use. Breakfast was a decent buffet spread and quite good quality for a hotel of this size. Omelettes and eggs can be cooked fresh on request. IMPOSSIBLE to get a hot cup of coffee though..!! Luke warm jugs of coffee handed out by staff but this was really poor - even a self service machine would have been hotter. This hotel is out of town. Taxis are easy to get but expect to pay 14-18 euro each way for a taxi into Morro Jable. Morro Jable old town is good for tapas restaurants and one of the bars often has live music.
“direct access to beautiful beach.”
The hotel is absolutely huge - a lot of vast areas that are not used. A bit confusing to find your way out of the hotel to the beach as it involves quite a few different lifts. But you do have direct access to the most beautiful sandy beach. unbeatable. and the pool also very nice. dinner and breakfast selection very good. not too keen on their coffee though. there was a bit of confusion on the so called gala night - as there was a notice outside the restaurant stated something different to the website. So we lugged around the dress shoes that took up half of our suitcase for nothing. Plenty of parking outside as this hotel is not in the centre. a smallish gym - but Feb wasn't too busy. and a large indoor swimming pool with whirlpool. giving a five star as if I were to come back - I would go back to this very hotel.
“Good hotel average location”
Good hotel, if you are B&B and want to eat away from the hotel be prepared to walk, the nearest restaurant of any note is a 5km round trip and not one I’d recommend in the dark, un made roads. The best restaurants are 5-6km one way. There are cabs or parking options. If you are Half board or paying €30 per person for the buffet, it’s average. Breakfast is tasteless, dinner buffet was poor quality. The Spanish night was a better quality but €40 per person. The Al a carte restaurant was excellent but the menu was limited (this may be seasonal)
“An ok stay but I wouldn’t run back in a hurry”
Thought we’d spend two nights at the end of our trip (it was my husband’s birthday). Beachfront location and a nice beach. Our room was spacious and clean (although right above the ping pong table which was annoying). The pools (x3) were nice and one was heated. The Q code varied widely from the tiny map given with the room keys (we were trying to find a bar). The lady came to clean our room at 1430 at which time we were having a siesta. We asked for milk for our coffee but they don’t supply any which is very odd. Called down to reception for a corkscrew. Lady didn’t understand me and put me into someone else. I was told they don’t do room service despite us having an upgraded room. Only suites have that. We went to the à la carte restaurant and my husband forgot to check the bill before signing. We were charged for two pizzas despite only having one. The lovely waiter opened our bottle of wine (we’d bought with us as no corkscrew in the room) and gave us two glasses and ice. The bill was rectified at checkout after asking staff to sort it. Weird vibe there. Like an abandoned high end shopping centre cum German clinic cum private clinic. Not a bad stay but wouldn’t return
“Thief”
Really disappointing that the cleaner stole my trainers. I reported it to reception and was told management was going to speak to me. They never did and asked reception the following day and was told no. Vanessa was not helpful and claimed she didn’t understand me. So upset as you put trust in people. Ruined the holiday
