“I loved the lay out of the property and the view from the balcony was amazing.”

The best

I liked the proximity to the old town and the restaurants and bars. Also the lovely beaches not being far away. The pool was also lovely to relax besides.

To be improved

The fact that a family of four, staying for one week, were only given one toilet roll and then expected to buy the rest themselves. Also, there was no hand soap in the bathroom and again this had to be bought.

“Cons: Room wasn't properly cleaned before handing it over to us, moreover when I report it, they did simply nothing, first they ignore, then they do nothing. It is very dark, almost impossible to reach the apartments in evenings without a flashlight. There is no recycle bin anywhere in the property, they require us to dispose the garbage, but they don't tell us where to through it, it's like they assume we would take them with us. In short, it was the worst reception ever.”

Terrible customer service. In front of the door we were asked to fill in online registration form otherwise we couldn’t receive the acces code. We tried 4 times but in ran into an error. Multiple contacts through telephone did not help. Clerk did not want to give us the code Because it was heavy raining we asked free of charge cancellation. The clerk agreed and advised to cancel via booking.com. A day later, after stayed in different hotel, we heard via booking.com that the hotel did not accept our cancellation and charged us full amount. Very bad customer service.

“L'Escala is a lovely village, the location of the apartment is quite central, everything needed is around, it has free parking nearby, shops, the beach is 5 min walk away, the apartment is tiny, but with good organization of the available space, with everything you need, well equipped kitchen, good bathroom, smart tv, great view to the sea, and comfortable bed. The apartment also seemed recently renovated/new. Staff was always available by phone, and the ladies that do the cleaning were also helpful. Strongly recommend.”
