“professional and personal service”

The best

professional and personal service from the manager and the dining room staff was provided during our six-night stay in the suite at the Nautic Park Playa d'Aro hotel. In any case, I would like to point out that it is a shame that the reception staff do not address the requests of the guests and/or do not pass them on to the staff and the kitchen. The matter was sorted out after a conversation with the manager Ivan, who did everything in his power to make our stay at the hotel pleasant and to our satisfaction. I would like to point out positively that the manager's availability on site really helps to solve problems quickly and effectively. It is good to know that there is someone to talk to. This does not happen in most hotels. We will surely return to the same suite.

“Disappointing”

Staff very welcoming, room and hotel spacious, pool good. Loved the pet friendliness. However, we checked out after one night because the fish was (very) cold at dinner and scrambled eggs the same at breakfast. Bacon and fried eggs were luke warm. And we came to eat both at the beginning of the time frame. Also, the very loud live music meant no peaceful drink at the (only) bar and we couldn't even hear the TV in our room with the window shut. Not recommended.

“Avoid in peak season and if you don't like kids”

The best

Not a bad hotel bit taken over by youth groups who took all the sunbeds and the pool. Also avoid if you don't fancy a Friday night rave which is open to the public and hotel guests can like it or lump it. Same on the Saturday with flamenco night for public who completely took over and meant long queues at the bar for paying guests.

“Terrible dirty dump”

Absolute dump of a place Room 2006 full of black mould and fleas Stains on the bedding and doors like a homeless refuge Checked in at 6pm left at 7 pm Make sure your tetanus jabs are current you will need it Reception staff are either just stupid or oblivious to how dirty the place is I actually thought I had mistakenly booked a hostel

“Good location, very nice beach nearby”

The location and facilities very good value for the money. The staff in the restaurant were very welcoming and kind, thank you for that, really enjoyed our breakfest time!

To be improved

At the arrival, we felt like we are not welcome there, the staff at the reception kind of ignored us. So we patiently waited till they will finish their tasks. I used to live in Spain for 4 years before Covid and still speak Spanish well, but it seemed they have some political reasons for this attitude, as we are from Eastern Europe( Latvia). I understand that almost no one in Spain usually knows where our country Latvia is and our history, but in the future we probably choose another hotel when visiting Costa Brava.
