“Perfect apartment in a stunning location.”
The best

The apartment was perfect for our trip. Located in Caimari, right at the top of this beautiful village. This provided stunning views out over the island, from the eastern coastal resorts of Alcudia, over Inca and then to the western mountains. The apartment is finished to a high standard, with all you would need for a pleasant stay. There are ample cooking facilities and our host, knowing we would be late to the island, even provided a great selection of food items to allow us to have a breakfast the following morning. This was provided free of charge too! An excellent touch. I could not fault the apartment, it has comfortable beds, seating, and great outdoor spaces too, including a garage across the road (not large enough for a car but great for storing bags and bikes) The village also has a good local shop (Sa botiga de Caimari) and a selection of bars and restaurants which we sadly did not visit. I would recommend Sa Ruta Verda which is a few minutes walk away if you like healthy breakfasts and lunchtime snacks. They're just branching out into the evenings and offer light bites and tasty craft beers, wines and cocktails in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I would definitely visit again.

To be improved

There was nothing wrong with the apartment. The only thing to draw attention to is with the village, as it has small, steep roads which can be tricky to navigate. We managed without issue but I wouldn't recommend coming in a large, luxury vehicle if you're not a confident driver or if you don't like walking up a few short, steep slopes. Parking is also at a premium in the area but we were lucky enough to secure one space directly outside the apartment. It wouldn't deter from me coming again but should be considered if anyone in your party has limited mobility.

“Exceptional”
The best

A beautiful clean property in a delightful quiet village close to the mountains. Terraces perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation. Views over village outstanding. One of the best villas we have ever booked in 30 years of visiting Mallorca.

To be improved

Nothing. Everything met or exceeded expectations. We would have no hesitation in rebooting this property.

“Gorgeous Property, Fantastic Holiday”
The best

This is a beautiful property, immaculately presented and in a stunning setting. We had a fabulous week here, thank you. To address some of the comments in other reviews, and add some details I'd have found useful before we went, here's some other notes I took: Despite other reviews to the contrary, you *can* park outside the house (the garage opposite is part of the property) although the village roads *are* very narrow and winding. Book a small hire-car if you can! 2 sets of towels are provided, for inside and pool use, and there is a drying rack outside the back door for swimming stuff. Initially we could only find 1 parasol at the house, but then found a second in the garage. We did need both as there isn't much shade in the garden. There are also beach umbrellas provided if you venture out to any beaches (we did this twice during the week). Inca has several large supermarkets, but the small supermarket in Caimari was fine for top-up shopping. We walked down every morning to buy fresh bread. The house TV has Movistar and we were able to find a few films in English to watch in the evenings, although navigating the system was a bit tricky! There is also a bookcase in the sitting room which contains a few English novels (plus lots of German ones!) in case you run out of poolside reading matter. There's a double bedroom on the ground floor, then another double upstairs, and a bedroom with bunk beds. All bedrooms have air conditioning, as does the sitting room (the kitchen-dining area does not, but we often ate up on the roof area - there were occasional wasps but it wasn't a big problem) We loved the barbecue provided and used it a few times during the week. Charcoal and lighters were at the property, and we also bought more. The kitchen is well stocked, lots of pans and sharp knives.

To be improved

Not much to complain about!! See other comments for a few very minor kitchen quibbles. Also, if you want a nice cup of tea, bring your own teabags from England. You can't buy them in Mallorca. Only large supermarkets have fresh milk too. Brits-abroad-problem! As stated in previous reviews, the property does have lots of steps, inside and outside. I would therefore say it's not so suitable for small children (our youngest is 5 and we were perfectly ok) or anyone with any kind of mobility issues. The pool was amazing for us, but it is quite small (approx 4x4m?) so you can only swim a couple of strokes, and it's all a depth of 1.5m. My kids can both swim so it was fine, but be aware that there's no 'shallow end' for children. It would have been nice to have a few pool toys provided to add to the fun. We had brought a couple of balls to play with and ended up buying a snorkel too as my son wanted to learn to use one, but a couple of foam 'noodles' for example would be great. The recycling/rubbish system is a bit complicated, and you are meant to take all your recycling to the centre in Selva (map/instructions in the property). We did this on our final day, having kept our recycling sorted in the kitchen (no issues with ants, but we did rinse it all out). Obviously you're not meant to use any public bins, eg in the village square, for household rubbish, but the occasional non-recyclable item may have found its way there...

“Stunning village, beautiful house very well kept, clean and nicely decorated, very pretty garden, beautifully situated t”
The best

It is in the most beautiful setting. A gorgeous traditional property that’s been renovated very well. Very comfortable with everything you need for a really wonderful holiday. Pool was lovely with and exceptional view which we couldn’t stop looking at all week. Well placed to explore stunning mountains. A quiet location perfect for a relaxing holiday.

To be improved

There nothing we didn’t like. If there’s one thing that could make it AMAZING it would be a larger pool however it’s been very well built in a very difficult landscape setting and I imagine it couldn’t be bigger. It was perfect for our two small children but imagine if you had more than two or teenagers it might not be ideal.

“Truly beautiful house in a lovely part of the world”
The best

Stunning location, comfortable house, good internet, nice to have the bbq, comfy beds, great pool

To be improved

Instructions about where the 'local' bins are. Oven shelves needed as currently no shelves in oven, oven gloves needed, better scissors (currently blunt), more tea towels needed (only 1 provided), 2 garden parasols would be good (only 1 by pool currently, none on terrace). Better provision of hand soap/washing up liquid etc would have been appreciated. Couldn't have any meals outside as we were instantly bombarded by wasps, this was disappointing as alfresco dining is normally a big part of our holiday experience.
