“Es Mercadad Experience.”
The best

Location was terrific in the centre of the town. Great modern apartment with all amenities. Central location ideal for touring the rest of Menorca. Shopping and restsurants were really good. Great to experience local life.

To be improved

Could be quite noisy but we knew that before we travelled and were prepared. It was part of the local experience. Parking could be sometimes difficult.

“A great place for independent travellers”
The best

We loved this apartment, and loved being in the centre of a friendly village with locals, and only a few tourists. The village has an excellent supermarket with fresh fish most mornings. There are also a handful of excellent restaurants. Buses around the island are infrequent, but super-reliable, and with a little planning, served us well. We also hired bikes (regular and e-bikes available) which gave us more freedom, and proved fun: we used these to visit some of the archeological sites.

To be improved

The location was great, and being on the main square, it was sometimes noisy at until midnight (and sometimes beyond - revellers, rubbish collection, etc.) However, the centrality and convenience almost made up for that!

“Excellent location”
The best

Excellent location in the centre of Es mercadal with shops and cafes nearby. It can get abit nousy at night so light sleepers beware. Easy parking within a few minute walk if you hire a car. Easy to contact reception if any issues arise.
