“Quiet, spotless, amazing location and very affordable!”

The best

I loved my stay at Sabia Boutique! It was a spotless and quiet stay. There wasn't any loud noises and everyone was respectful. I will say that this is the quietest hostel I have been to, which really worked for me and I really liked not being awoken, or having to listen to people yell and laugh in the common areas. However, if thats not the vibe you are looking for then you probably won't like it here. The staff were also very nice whenever I saw them and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. One extra thing I really appreciated was their designated locker for luggage, so even though I couldn't check in until 3, I didn't have to carry around my luggage all day.

“The location was super convenient, close to city centre and there were lots of cafes, restaurants and shops around it. Hostel has AC which was very important during summer. Doors have password codes you can only enter with that. I stayed at female only room but in hostel there were other rooms where people stayed both male-female when they booked like that. · Cons: Towels are not provided by hostel you have to pay for it if you need it. There was no kitchen or fridge in the rooms or common rooms. There was a time that I lived a bad experience. I put the gift bags on the ground next to my luggage, everday cleaning ladies come and organize the rooms. The bags were on the ground for 5 days and then one day I saw that they were gone! It turns out one of the cleaning ladies thought that they were thrash and put them in thrash bins outside!!!! I got really mad and told them if they would be thrash I would put them in thrash bin that is in our room! Fortunately they took me the thrash bins that she put my gift packages, and we took them from thrash bin!!! If I was late that day and if municipility would empty the cities thrash bins, my gifts would be gone forever! Anyways thankfully I had them back but it was very annoying and stressful event for me!”

“Great place for an independent backpacker”

The best

This is a great hostel for a short stay in Madrid. The property is whole run remotely so there are no staff onsite except the occasional cleaner (and they were kk d and helpful when I arrived and had questions). The location is perfect and security is good with door codes on every door. The bunk room was nice and quite spacious, and included an ensuite bathroom. My only complaint about the room was a REALLY strong air fresher that smelled quite chemically and made me nauseous (I stuffed it in a drawer to control the odour). Share facilities are minimal so don’t expect a kitchen or laundry; this hostel is great for an independent traveller who is going to be out all day.

To be improved

As mentioned above, go a bit lighter on the air freshener! And have a look at the shower drain in room 6 — it was badly clogged when I used it which cause water to run over the shower edge and all over the floor.

“2 adult sisters”

The best

10/10 we stayed in the balcony room which was a treat for us at the end of our trip in Spain and it fully delivered. Such a comfy room with a great bathroom and we love a bit of local tv so being able to watch that (rather than having to log into a subscription and give money to Jeff) was great. Brilliant location close to major tourist attractions. Doing the desk-free check in was very easy and for my questions the staff were very quick to respond through WhatsApp. I also loved that there was a kettle available and very easy to store our bags for a few hours at no extra change after check out. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Decor, updated interior, baños Moderna, edifico lindo, céntrico, bien precio Beautiful building, good value, updated bathrooms and rooms, aircon good! Super convenient location!!! We’d stay here again!

To be improved

No staff present on premises, no sink or kitchen space, check in instructions a bit convoluted.
