Salamander Vacational Home with balcony and fantastic views

Good location, great view of Teide. The apartment has everything you need.

The balcony with great views (Teide), location and peacefull of the location. Bathroom and shower were great.

The apartment was clean, well-lit and homey. The bed and the sofa were comfortable, the shower cabinet spacious and there was always hot water. Basic toiletries, cleaning products, trash bags, and even laundry detergent were provided, and the washing machine was very good. The kitchen was well equipped with good selection of cutlery, crockery, and cooking utensils, and there was even a selection of different kinds of wine glasses. Basic condiments like sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, selection of tea bags were provided, and there was a complimentary bottle of water and bowl of fresh fruit for us. There was no freezer but the fridge had a small freezer compartment. The free wifi worked very well, and the Netflix (Germany) and Amazon Prime were available for free. We loved the balcony from where there was a superb view of the El Teide. There was a folding dining table and two chairs indoors but we always ate outside on the balcony. The communication with the host was good, and they were kind to let us check-in an hour early when we arrived earlier than expected. The location in the Urbanization La Paz of Puerto de la Cruz was great. The apartment is facing a residential area so it was quiet at night. There were restaurants and cafes and a supermarket just across the main road, and more near the Botanical Gardens a couple of minutes walk away. Nearest big supermarket was Mercadona in the Centro Comercial Martianez 600 m down the hill, and it was about 1 km walk down to the historic centre of Puerto de la Cruz. The apartment doesn't offer parking but we had no problems in finding free street parking near the building. It would have been easy to take the bus down to and up from the town as the busses run past on the main road. The facilities were well thought out, and all in all this apartment was excellent value for money.

A peaceful apartment in a quiet area. The apartment is quite small, but had everything we needed. A sunny balcony with a great view of Teide.
