The apartment is located on a beach facing corner, however it is above a large restaurant so even in February there’s a lot of noise, both from the road outside ( busy corner junction onto seafront and car parks) and the restaurant - all day and all night…. raising and closing shutters, customers chatting, tables and chairs being dragged about. The smell of cooking from the restaurant also gathers in the hall and bedrooms of the apartment, so it’s wise to keep the bedroom and bathroom doors closed at all times. The walls between flats are also quite thin and the neighbours rather loud… it’s probably a good job we don’t speak much Spanish or we’d have heard a few too many secrets.

The apartment is a little dated, although still nice. Here at the beach, it was very busy with cars on a Sunday with locals coming down to eat and enjoy the beach. The museum was closed down, and quite a few shops look like they have now gone.
