San Amaro Beach Apartment

It would have been nice to have a few extras like washing up liquid or spare blankets

The entrance and exit locks are automated and we could only enter at 5pm which is very late, we were told it was for cleaning but the cleaners come in the morning so our apartment was ready but we couldn’t enter which meant we couldn’t park either

Simply at check out- We missed our train as there wasn’t any communication or clear notice that the door would lock up only 4 mins after 11am Check out time. we had gone downstairs to get the taxi, and still our suitcases just behind the door. There was only inside access, no physical back up key to open apartment door. It took us over 40 mins to get through to speak with the owner and open the door. Luckily we did not miss our flights but were very unhappy about this and we even had to pay 100 euros to get by taxi to Santiago airport after missing the train. This door pin code autolocking was not told to us in advance, and needs to be communicated clearly and there needs to be more of a time allowance. What if a baby or child accidentally was stuck and parents couldn’t get in? Can be potentially dangerous, please resolve this for future stays, and make the emergency number also very clear and accessible as we couldn’t find it in any of the emails, and we only managed to get it from booking.com customer services once they contacted the owner to urgently open the door to get our suitcases.
