Strong sewage smell from washing machine room affect whole apartment. There are in fact two apartments ( North and South), North facing the white wall of a quiet cobblestone street but South unit facing back alley of an old house’s toilet when view from living room. The photos of the apartment mix the two units and give no choice for you to select. I book 3 months in advance for two person and still was given the South apartment. Host said it is a bigger one but there is no use for two person with an extra room with 4 beds. It’s too late to found out when check in as she said the North apartment was occupied. If I was given enough information before booking, I am willing to pay more for the North unit. However I will not choose to stay in the South unit as life is short, more than 40 hours from South East Asia to Garachico is only once in a life time for me, and I deserve a better view and environment.

Not able to swim

There is only one small hard loveseat to sit on other than the hard dining room chairs. There is no chair in the bedroom. A comfortable place to sit at the end of a big adventurous day would have made our stay perfect.
