I paid €1,380 for 10 days in an apartment with a huge number of cockroaches. The apartment was not cleaned, there wasn’t even soap or basic cleaning supplies. The linens were dirty, and the shower drain was clogged. I am traveling with two children, and these conditions are absolutely terrible. There were even cockroaches in the fridge. I wrote to the host, but she is not taking any action. I travel a lot and often book accommodations through Booking. This is the first time I’ve experienced something like this. :( Twice during these days, the landlord came at 8 a.m. without warning, waking up my kids and me. I’m just in shock. They gave us a toy Peppa Pig for the kids. We asked them to refund at least the cleaning costs, but they refused. We are very unhappy. Also, the advertisement stated that the apartment had a balcony, but there was no balcony at all. This was the worst vacation of my life, which I spent battling cockroaches. I demand compensation for this. I dont need a Peppa Pig toy for the kids worth 1€; I can buy it myself. I demand a refund at least half of cost, as well as compensation for moral damages.

The accommodation did not match the description No private pool, it was a communal pool for the whole complex There was no outside space or balcony as described No towels in the property which was a huge shock. A taxi had to be taken to purchase. The untidy finish of the property was a disappointment, pictures still in wrapping and price tags attached

Hills to get to and from the apartment were hard going but acceptable
