SAN FRANCISCO

Well, first, our booking (one day ahead) wasn't recognized by the apartment owner, so when we arrived, there were no instructions how to get in. The number provided by Booking.com wasn't functional. There's another number on a sticker on the house, which eventually worked, somehow. The man who picked it up said (Spanish language, English didn't quite work, which is okay, just that you know in advance) we should use a code to get the keys, the code didn't work though. Long story short, after almost two hours of waiting nice young lady came and arranged the entry to second apartment (Booking.com presented also another, nicer apartment and it's very confusing to understand which one you actually book). It was a clean, newly reconstructed apartment with living/dining room on the sidewalk level of not too pretty backyard and bedroom and bathroom in 1st floor. The place wouldn't be so bad after all (although really far from inexpensive considering the service) if the bed wasn't simply terrible. We both agreed it was near impossible to get decent sleep on that old and rather small bad. I'm 183cm tall, but my girlfriend is much smaller and lighter, yet even she had hard time to get comfortable in that bed. Hopefully, they will fix it, when they do, I'd add one or two points.

The internet connection wasn’t great but we managed. It was best in the living room. The tiny thing that was missing were the toiletries in the bathroom and a small bathroom bin. Overall though, the apartment was great.
